technology Posted by Beaver Fuel at 10:08am on 5th Jan 2010  is not a musician's friend, particularly laptops. Twice now at a Thin Green Candles gig Fred's managed to restart the song halfway through. Although none of the rest of us noticed except for an odd feeling that the song should be over by now! Last gig though the laptop started improvising, which sounded good at first, but then it all dropped out completely. That shouldn't be a problem except that it happened to be the track where I don't actually play a proper bass part as there's enough in the backing track... |
